یکی دیگر از مزیت‌های گفتنی این روش یاد گرفتن کلمه‌ها و اصطلاحات جدید در هر داستانه. از اونجایی که هر کتابی محتوا، سبک و داستان خودش را دارد، ما با خواندن هر کتاب با موضوعات مختلف، کلمه‌های مختلف و زیادی را یاد میگیریم که این باعث میشود، دایره لغاتمان بالا بره و در مورد هر موضوعی بتوانیم به راحتی صحبت کنیم و کلی مطلب جدید یاد بگیریم.

آشنایی با فرهنگ‌های مختلف:

از اونجایی که هر کتاب نویسنده‌ای دارد که اهل هر جای دنیا میتواند باشد، با شناختن نویسنده این فرصت برایمان بوجود میاد که با فرهنگ و طرز فکر نویسنده و محیطی که در آن بزرگ شده بیشتر آشنا بشیم و اطلاعاتی علاوه بر یادگیری زبان انگلیسی کسب کنیم، اینطوری با یک تیر چند نشون میزنیم.

نکته‌هایی برای انتخاب کتاب داستان

انتخاب کتاب داستانی که به آن علاقه داشته باشید و برایتان جذاب باشد

اگر صدها کتاب داستان بخوانید ولی به ژانر آنها علاقه نداشته باشید و برایتان جذاب نباشد باید بگم فقط دارید وقت خودتان را میگیرید چون نه تنها از این روش زده میشید حتی ممکنه علاقه به یادگیری زبان را از دست بدید و نسبت به آن سرد بشید پس داستان کتاب را قبل از خواندن بررسی کنید و اگر علاقه داشتید شروع به خواندن آن کنید.

کتاب داستان مناسب سطح خودتان را انتخاب کنید

قبل از خواندن کتاب مطمئن باشید که مناسب سطحتان است یعنی اینکه نه خیلی پایین‌تر و نه خیلی بالاتر از سطح شما باشد حالا چطوری این را متوجه بشیم؟ خیلی از کتاب داستان‌ها مخصوصا کتابهای آموزشی سطحشان مشخص شده و راحت میتونید انتخاب کنید در غیر این صورت، بعد از خواندن چند صفحه اگر در هر صفحه دو سوم معنی کلمات رو متوجه شدید، آن کتاب مناسب سطح شماست اگر کمتر یا بیشتر باشد، کتاب را باید کنار بزارید چون باز هم زود خسته میشید و ممکنه اعتماد به نفستان را از دست بدید و به طور کامل کتاب خواندن به انگلیسی که خیلی برای یادگیری شما مفید است را رها کنید.

موضوع کتاب داستان مناسب باشد

کتاب‌هایی که موضوع پیچیده و خیلی فلسفی دارند را برای شروع یادگیری انتخاب نکنید، سعی کنید کتابی با موضوع ساده را انتخاب کنید تا هم مفهوم آن را بفهمید و هم بتوانید با لذت دنبالش کنید.

چطوری با کتاب داستان انگلیسی یاد بگیریم؟

تقسیم بندی کتاب داستان:

اولین قدم برای یادگیری زبان با کتاب داستان این است که کتاب را به صفحه‌های مشخص تقسیم‌بندی کنید، اگر کتاب فصل‌های مختلف دارد و طولانیست باید آنها را هم تقسیم کنید. مثلا به ۵ صفحه تقسیم و صفحه به صفحه شروع به خواندن کتاب کنید. اینکار باعث میشود حجم زیاد مطالب به شما فشار وارد نکند و آهسته شروع به یادگیری کنید تا خسته نشوید.

روخوانی کردن کلی:

بعد از تقسیم کتاب، کار بعدی روخوانی از آنهاست. صفحه اول را یک دور روخوانی کنید و فقط سعی کنید یک درک کلی از متن بگیرید، نیاز نیست که خیلی روی هر جمله و معنی آن ریز بشید اگر جمله یا کلمه‌ای رو نفهمیدید مهم نیست این فقط برای بدست آوردن یک دید و درک کلی از متن است.

روخوانی جزئی:

بعد از اینکه به یک درک کلی رسیدید جمله‌هایی که معنیش رو نفهمیدید را بررسی کنید و پاراگراف به پاراگراف برید جلو و بعد از خواندن یک پاراگراف و فهمیدن معنی کلمه‌ها به پاراگراف بعدی برید و تا پایان صفحه ادامه بدید.

خواندن لغات در قالب جمله‌ها:

وقتی یک صفحه را کامل خواندید، به دنبال قسمت‌هایی که بلد نبودید برید، کلمه‌هایی که نمیدونستید را روی کاغذ بنویسید و سعی کنید آنها را با جمله‌ها یاد بگیرید. یادگیری کلمه‌ها خوبه ولی بهتره آنها را در جمله‌ها یاد بگیرید تا بدانید چطوری در متن بکار میروند و بعد از مدتی غیر از یادگیری کلمه بتونین جمله بندی کامل رو هم یاد بگیرید.
